    • Thanks for the comment Jim. First, what is I interesting is your use cases for Twitter and Facebook are very close to the opposite on my usage patterns. My Facebook exchanges are much more informal...

    • Hey Lou- Interesting thought. Not sure if this point will validate or run counter to your argument: Have you noticed how Facebook status is not the same as Twitter status? I used to have my Twitter...

    • This hits home to me. Innovation often happens in the confines of core competency and consequently overlooked. We often suffer from sensory fatigue. You know.... Losing sight of why customers...

    • Thanks Ron. As far as the FriendFeed widget, just part of the template I am using and then using the width to get the FF widget to go across.

    • I like your blog a lot. Is it an extra feature for premium members to show your FriendFeed widget to go across the two side bars like that? Thanks for your response in advance.

A co-worker sent me this to me weeks ago as one of the better examples he’s seen of explaining the real point of user experience. I just now got to take a good look at it and they did an excellent job in the overview. And they do it with what has become […] ... Continue reading »

  • Hey Graeme, great to see you here. Yes, it is a good slide show isn't it, thanked my colleague just the same. User experience seems to be the competency the most overlooked in all of the latest evolutions of the web. At the same, UX could have had one of the greatest impacts.

Thanks on the congrats. I am very excited about joining the SnagAJob.com team, they have been doing some fantastic work matching the right people with the right jobs in the hourly space. On a side note, I'm not sure how I fit into the Defrag '08 agenda based on my new role but who knows, I'll leave that up to Eric.

Right now I'm continuing to ramp up at the new job and I look forward to be able to contribute as much as I can. So far, it has been a fantastic first few weeks. The team is intelligent, energetic and full of passion which is what I score so highly. Keep an eye out for us.
  • What's up Lou? Great post and love the new redesign of Correlate!!
I love how they used the iPhone as an example of that, it is so true. iPhone did not add new functionality at all. As a matter of fact compared to other manufactures such as; Sony Ericsson's or Nokia they are behind. Especially when compared to Nokia N95 and the new N96. These phones are packed with features. But the iPhone is really a will designed, easier to navigate piece of hardware that makes all these other phones look childlike. Anyways, great post that all can learn from.
